We’re currently a Part-Time Psychiatrist to fill an opening with a correctional facility in Austin, TX offering competitive pay, flexible schedules, and great work-life balance.

Details & Responsibilities –

• Competitive Pay

• 3 Month Contract

• Part-time schedule, 1 day/week

• 8 or 10 hour shift

• Flexible on which day (M-F)

• Start Date – ASAP

• Credentialing Estimate – 1 months

• Psychiatry. Provide initial and ongoing psychiatric assessments, group counseling, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with other providers onsite.

• Charting. Maintain accurate and timely medical records in patient’s health record.

• Take a leading role in the treatment of patients. Collaborate & work with other providers, nurses and medical assistants to ensure a high standard of care.

• Refer Patients. As needed, refer patients to off-site specialists.

  Required Qualifications –

• BC/BE with ABPN or osteopath equivalent

• Active/Unrestricted TX medical license

• DEA Registration

• BLS Certification
